Features
Spenlio reads the bank and card SMS on your phone and turns them into a working financial ledger. Here's what that gets you — grouped by what it does for you.
See your money
Spending, money in, and your 30-day net — each one tap away from the exact transactions behind it. Red is money out, green is money in, everywhere.
Every transaction grouped by day, with filters for date ranges, direction, amount, currency, and categories — down to "needs a category" when you're tidying up.
Weekly spending bars over real calendar weeks, category and merchant breakdowns, and month-over-month movement, so you see patterns instead of rows.
Same party, same amount, same rhythm — Spenlio spots monthly and annual charges and shows each one's full history: every charge, price changes, even card switches.
Trust the numbers
Your accounts and credit cards emerge from the messages themselves — including credit cards that share one limit, grouped so available credit reads correctly.
When a reported balance doesn't match the messages, Spenlio shows the gap with its evidence and plain-words math — expected, reported, and the difference. Never silently patched.
Foreign transactions keep their original currency. Converted views are estimates by rate and date, clearly labeled — facts before FX estimates, always.
ATM withdrawals count as spending the moment cash leaves your accounts. Deposits show as inward money in their own bucket — never inflated into income.
One-time passwords, security alerts, and promotional blasts are recognized for what they are and kept out of your spending — visible if you look, never counted.
Link an incoming refund to the charge — or several charges — it repays. Linked credits leave your income figures and the original charge notes what came back.
Make it yours
Only genuinely unclear items ask for your attention. Channel rows like ATM or POS stay out of the queue, and any merchant can be skipped — reversibly.
Categorize one transaction, or say "always" and teach Spenlio the rule. Twelve practical starter categories cover food to healthcare to online services.
Merge the five spellings of the same shop, rename cryptic senders, and add per-transaction notes. Everything is a reversible rule over the raw evidence — nothing is overwritten.
Set merchant-scoped budgets with monthly averages, month-end projections, and history bars against your cap.
Private by design
Messages are read and parsed on your phone. Reading never uploads them; your ledger, corrections, and budgets are stored only on the device.
Day-to-day use needs no connection. New messages are picked up automatically, and even SMS you later delete stay in the ledger once captured.
Your ledger lives in the app's storage on your phone. Uninstall Spenlio and that data is gone — there's no server copy of it to chase.
SMS access, sharing unread formats to help Spenlio learn, and crash reports are three separate choices — each off until you turn it on.
The best demo is your own inbox — months of history, organized in minutes.
